Why this opens a training on AI

Everything that follows is about changing the ground, not working more.

Three direct consequences of what you have just read:

1. If productivity belongs to the environment, agents are the biggest environmental change available today. Typing speed matters little. What matters is that they change both physical capital (execution capacity) and organizational capital (the cost of coordination) at the same time.

1. Brazil’s bottleneck is exactly where AI acts. We work 300 more hours per year than Germans and produce one quarter per hour. More effort does not solve this. Better tools and better organization do, which are engines 1 and 3 in practice.

1. The choice between innovating and protecting yourself still applies. Adopting AI to shield the current process is the technological version of lobbying: it preserves mediocrity in new clothes. Rebuilding the process is innovation.

The concept of Internal Transaction Cost, which you will encounter in Stage 1, formally connects this block to the rest: companies exist because coordinating internally used to be cheaper than hiring in the market. Agents drive that cost down, which is why they change the org chart as well as the software.

The technologies that gave people back hours of life did so by increasing the value produced in each hour. That is the test we will apply to everything ahead.
